I am learning my subtraction to 20 maths facts. I made some flash cards to help me. I put the equation on the front and the answer on the back.

My Treasure Map

My Treasure Map

WALT: read a map using co-ordinates and write them correctly.

I really enjoyed doing my treasure map because I like to draw and colour in. First  my mum helped me do my lines then I started to do my numbers and my letters. Next I did the outline of the island and drew the places on the island. Finally I coloured it in.

Anzac biscuits

ANZAC Biscuits

Ingredients:

1 cup of sugar

1 cup of rolled oats

1 cup of desiccated coconut

1 cup of all purpose flour

115gm of salted butter

2 tablespoons of golden syrup

1 teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda

2 tablespoons of boiling water 

First I washed my hands.

Then I got all of my ingredients out.

I turned the oven on to 180.

I put all the dry ingredients in a bowl

and mixed them together.

I melted the butter and golden syrup in a pot.

I mixed the baking soda and boiling water together and put it in with the melted butter and golden syrup.

I poured the wet ingredients in to the dry ingredients and mixed it all together.

I rolled the mixture into balls and put them on a baking tray.

Then I flattened them and put them in the oven for 10 minutes.

My Anzac biscuits are ready!

My science experiment

I did a science experiment using milk, food colouring, dishwashing liquid and cotton buds. When I dipped the cotton buds in the dishwashing liquid and I put it in the middle all of the food colouring it swished back.

I made a book jacket for my book called Safari. First I made the book cover. It has the title, the authors name and a picture. Next I wrote about the author. Finally I wrote about the book on the back cover.

My first week of online learning

MY  FIRST  WEEK  OF  ONLINE  LEARNING

I really enjoyed doing my online learning. My favourite bit was doing the Anzac Button. I really enjoyed this because I love drawing and colouring. I learnt that Anzac day is on April 25th to remember the soldiers that were in the war. My mum helped me with my work. I hope that you enjoy my blog.
